There IS light at the end of tunnel.

So, I'm at school as I write this. I sketched something out for my art class, and my teacher is kind enough (all art teachers here actaully are) to let me use computers for my own purpose, meaning I'm writing this and scanned few sketches (posted in my gallery, finally little update).
This was good monday, for me atleast. I'm feeling good.

It keeps going on.

So I started to do my work for that art diploma. I spent first lesson
from 8:20 to 9:30 going through what I was going to do for that course
(we are designing some sort of installation).
From there on untill 13:40 it was sketching, planning, raging and
smiling witht the diploma work. Heck, I did some excellent things
but also one of the sketches look like shit, nothing like what I
wanted. I should propably keep some sort of journal for my progress
which I attach to my portfolio, like all the sketches and whatnot.
Now I'm bit tired, but I'm still going to grind my paladin atleast
one more level.
Atleast I have the joy to see my sister and her children this week.

Art Diploma

Mon Sep 7, 2009, 11:03 AM
As it says in the title. Art Diploma. Time to make sketches, collect
info and all that. If I succeed in this, well it opens doors, or atleast
helps me getting my foot between them.
Subject: My vision of character from Finnish folklore (from Kalevala).
Medium: Anything I can think basically. From pencil drawing into photography.
As long as it is in visual arts. I'm thinking oil pastels. Possibly even
painting (which I find difficulty and messy).
Oh, and my matriculation examinations are starting next week. Too much work
and no play makes me a dull boy. Wasn't exactly a thrilling case before.
I, seriosly, should start reading for the exams but for some reason I always
end up watching cartoons or something.

  • Mood: Suffering
  • Listening to: Starman - Leningrad Cowboys (Cover)
  • Watching: blankly at the monitor.
  • Eating: Some berries.
  • Drinking: Juice

Shopping sure is fun!

So, today I purchased what I always wanted to try out.
A grapics table. Always wanted one to see how it works and
if it's any good. It's Trust TB-6300 Slimline Design Tablet.
200 by 150 mm (8x6 inches), 512 step pressure sensitivity,
42 extra direct accessible programmable soft buttons and no
idea what to do. Well ye, I got it hooked in my computer, tried
to doodle a bit, messed around with pressure settings and whatnot.
Will be a while to actually get something worth posting done with
that thing.
So that's how I spent 60 €uros just like that, oh I bought microfiber
swiper and some sweets.

April Fools

Tue Mar 31, 2009, 9:54 PM
Ah, April 1st. April Fools day. My birthday. No seriously.
I was born on the first of April. Reason why my birthday
parties never were on my actual birthday. Guess it's also
partly to blame me for my positive attitude and view.

  • Mood: Euphoric
  • Listening to: Eläkeläiset - Humpatonta Joulua
  • Reading: Messages from family.
  • Watching: Soon MonsterQuest
  • Playing: WoW as soon as maintenance is over.
  • Drinking: Cola
